Back to School - 2024!

Rain or Shine... It’s Back to School Time!

It was a rainy day when the Peace Girls filed out to received their annual school supplies from Peace Sisters this month, but they all went home fully equipped for the new school year. Thanks to a grant from the Rotary Club of Lansing, the Peace Girls have what they need to thrive in the 2024-25 academic year.

In order to maximize the value of the grant, supplies were purchased in bulk in the capital of Lomé and transported up to Dapaong, bush-taxi style.

Additionally, 100 girls received locally sewn uniforms as part of this grant, and 410 girls received menstrual supplies to prevent absenteeism thanks to funding from Friends of Togo this year!
