US Embassy Renews Funding...

Some Mixed News...

Exam results were lower than average throughout all of Togo this past year, and the Peace Girls were no exception. Unfortunately we weren't able to run our tutoring program at its full capacity in the 2023-24 school year due to funding constraints, so we implemented a scaled down program.

We are disappointed by this setback that will require over 80 girls to repeat a grade of school... Talk about your high stakes testing.

But on the bright side:

Fortunately our funding constraints for tutoring are solved for the 2024-25 school year!  The US Embassy in Togo has again funded our program this year. Its impact was measurable in 2023, so we are hopeful that our success rates for all students taking the BEPC, BAC1 & BAC2 will return to our previously high levels.
