Covid couldn't hold Tina back...
Travel restrictions have been a frustration for everyone during the pandemic, and no less so for Peace Sisters. In normal times, Tina would visit Dapaong on a yearly basis to meet up with the girls and assess our program. It is always a joyful time for the girls to get together and showcase their abilities and for Tina to share her inspiration.
We are so grateful that Tina was able to visit safely again this year!

Peace Girl becomes Peace Sister...
It is a dream of Peace Sisters for the girls in our program to become so successful that they can effectively take on the role of a Peace Sister who returns to inspire her own community.
Soube Zénabou, the first college graduate from our program, is the first example of such a student. She took the floor at one of the large gatherings Tina held in Dapaong and shared her story with the girls who hope to follow in her footsteps.
Tina also held many smaller meetings with all the Peace Girls and other local stakeholders, and she took the time to really listen to everyone's ideas.
